i THOUGHT HALLS WAS GOING TO WIN IT NO PROBLEM, THATS WHTY THEY SAID AT THE BEGINING OF THE YEAR, YET THEY CANT BEAT KARNS, HIMM KINDA WEIRD

Karns deserve their win last night. Bunts won that game and our inability to cover them. Errors have killed Halls this year we can not out hit or out pitch them in close games.

So if we firm up on defense Halls should win the tournament no prob.

Yes we did beat Karns 10-0 at our house.

Yeah we can't beat Karns. 10-0 run rule two weeks ago. Get your facts straight before you start running off at the mouth.

This is the same song and dance that I heard on the WB thread a few minutes ago. You mentioned 10 run ruling WB at UT......maybe they need to play you again like Karns did and chances sound pretty good that they will beat you this time.....you really didn't like anyone saying that WB could compete with Halls....but you never know..

If you can make it out of your district we will see. Realize this though, we have played without Lockwood for the past week and we are committing at an alarming rate. I am not taking anything away from Karns because they did exactly what they needed to do to win the game last night. This being said, we get Lock in a week and if we tighten up our defense we will be tough to beat in the District.

Sounds like your dad is just a few years older than I. Yes, Central Baseball was great back in the day. I learned a lot from Botts over my years there. The last I heard Scott was working as a GM of some minor league team.

Was GM for Clearwater Phillies, but took a job last year in the front offices for Minor League Baseball located in St. Petersburg.

lol reddevil, yeah Halls is doing great this year jeff, they cant beat a terrible powell team 2 times, thats sad your home opener to get beat by a bad powell team.

An 18-9 record for the players you have and the teams you guys play is terrible, good luck. I dont see yall going to far

    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
