so what position do yuns think he will play in college is he too small to play rb

I think he needs to be RB, he is 5'11 180 right now. Get him in school he will add 20 pounds of muscle and be a very capable back. He is too big a threat on the offensive side for him not to play there. But he is special, he could be a champ bailey type player and play both ways.

There was a article on Tate this morning in the Tennessean. The site that has him at #2 is run by a 16 year old. Scout and Rival recruiting experts say that they didn't know if they would go as far as #2 in the nation, but they said he is top 25 in the nation. In my opinion, Tate is top 10 material in the nation. His stats are unbeleivable, his strength is good, and he has great speed.

what does playing football have to do with judging talent? it has nothing to do with it, all that matters is that you understand the game of football. if anyone knows anything about football they know Golden is a special player that doesn't come around often. Honestly I think he will be a top 10 in the nation and I hope to see him on the hill.

Agree totally. For years, Pro Football Weekly's NFL Draft Analyst was the late Joel Buschbaum, a guy who probably weighed 120 pounds soaking wet, but who was as expert a judge of football talent as I've ever seen.

Where will Golden Tate sign to play in college?

I have heard the following:

Miami: He would like to play both baseball and football along with being in a warm weather climate.

Florida: Likes the coaching staff

Florida State: Bobby "Grandpa" Bowden is a master at selling the school and program

Notre Dame: Very difficult academics but he would be allowed to try football and baseball. Does he have the academics (grades & test scores) to get in? It's also a Catholic school and Golden should be use to the atmosphere if Pope John Paul II has done their job.

Tennessee: They need WR's and Cutcliff is back with his had firmly on the throtle. This would also be closer to home for family and friends to watch the games.

This is the sight started by the 16 year old kid.

While stats do tell a great deal about a player, you really can't look at stats alone. You put a stand-out player in a division with lesser talent and his stats will be off the board. You put the same player on a larger team against a strong region, you won't have the same results.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
    • I heard Alabama was at Antioch practice and Colorado has offered QB. Hoping the Bears have a great year.
