If Summertown can win its sectional game, then we are assured of something happening in single A that hasn't happened in 8 yrs.... a public school winning the championship.

 

The multiplier system appears to have given public schools a better chance of advancing...

 

That being said....predictions on the single A champion?

So much for the number one ranked rockets winning state. How about those summertown eagles after their impressive win yesterday and being back at state?

Forrest beat Summertown 13-3 and 8-0 this year. Yes Summertown beat Forrest 5-4 this year and if you were at the game you know what happened there. Bring on Summertown.

I wasn't there! What happened? I didn't realize they had played so many times this year. If Minor doesn't pitch S'town has a chance.

      Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
