Has MJ scrimmaged anyone and how have they done;does anyone know

MJ "beat" Hillwood at the old Jamboree. Get ready Region, here come DA BEARS! A little payback due to some folks this year. Matching up some real talent (great Jr. class) with OUTSTANDING leadership (thanks PP!)

 

WE WILL (plus some friends from the Region) GO TO THE NEXT ROUND...book it!

 

First stop the mighty kitties! :D

You're very welcome MJ! :lol: Are you ready for another great season of high school football? I don't know what to expect at all from my Panthers. I'm just hoping for a good year. :lol:

must be nice to have a magnet school to draw all the players to your school. as they do in region 5. that is alright, we just have to do with what we have. in clarksville, you can only go to the school that is in your zone. so us getting there means the world to our teams.

I respect coaches like randy johnson in region 5, because they are good guys. I hope I have the opportunity to meet other coaches in that region.

Pearl Cohn

 

Have seen our fair share of these teams. They are awsome. what more do you want us to say. no crying, but it would be nice to make it more than 2 rounds someday. who knows, it may someday happen.

 

 

Sounds like Clarksville should go to open zoning if they want to compete, I thought that was the plan at one time.

Not much talk about the Panthers tthis year.

 

I've been working too much this year to keep up with what's going on with the Panthers. My son-in-law said we didn't look too good against Gallatin in the Jamboree last week, but Gallatin is a much larger school than we are and should be expected to win. Like I said earlier, I'm just hoping for a good season and wish Coach Bever the best of luck in his first season as head coach.

Clarksville will win the region.

NO WAY! Clarksville would have to beat KENWOOD.Not gonna happen! If they beat beach this week there there set for the season. No way chs will beat kenwood

 

i think that kenwood will win the region not just because im from there and i just graduated but because we are still fighting for respect and we havent earned it yet

i guess everyone is now taking a back seat to their opinions and assumptions. As they can see that SPRINGFIELD is in control of their region and their destiny. After each week fans see that this team is really showing people that they cant be played with. Watch out for them in the playoffs.

Springfield may suprise everyone and win region.

 

Springfield is indeed surprising everybody right now and could win this region if they keep improving and take it one game at a time. These last three weeks of the regular season will be interesting in 6-4A. Along with Springfield, I think Clarksville, Kenwood, and Mt. Juliet will make the playoffs.

      I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.

      I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.

      I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
