The Warriors should win. They have many players back from last season. I look for them to beat Murphy.

Who will win this early battle as the Marion County Warriors travel to North Carolina to face a tough 1A team in Murphy.

It will be a tough game for us. Yes they are a 1A school however NC 1A includes schools with enrollment up to 700 students. Murphy has around 600 students. More actually than Marion, on the up side I think they did graduate around 20 seniors. I'm taking Marion in a close game.

I can agree with you CHead on this statement. I hear they do have many players returning from last year. I hear the #'s are up from last year also. It will be interesting to see how they will perform.

I talked with their coach the other day and he told me, "that some look like Tarzan but play like Jane". We will find the Tarzan's and Jane's starting Monday!!
