wavelink101
Hey Duckman, Greetings from Gallatin! Please keep me posted on the Rebels this season. I read an article the other day on the Carr kid. I know he's got some big shoes to fill, but it sounds like he's doing well. I am looking forward to another season as well. Gallatin has 7 starters on each side of the ball returning & 42 seniors with lots of PT. Total head count is 103. Should be a good year for us!! Good luck to McKenzie & I'll look forward to your updates! GO GREEN WAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

crockettfan
crockettfan, I think someone finally determined that high_school_sports_fan was from Dyersburg and not McKenzie. Just thought I'd pass that along. Duckman- I'm not hatin' on McKenzie. You guys have a fine program, and your superintendent is a Crockett County native as well. Sounds like high_school_sports_fan is still sour about a first round loss to a 2-8 team! Dyersburg may have gone 10-0, but a quick check of the facts also shows they have not made it to week two of the playoffs but one time in the last seven years. Crockett County last left the playoffs in round one in 1998, the second appearance in history in the playoffs for the Cavaliers. Good luck to the Rebels this year. duckman38201
McKenzie impressed a lot people Friday night. It looks like they are in for a great season. Good Luck! Thanks and best wishes to ya'll too. I'm pleased with how the running game has come around and with all the improvements on defense. If our defensive secondary can step it up a notch or two we should be OK this season. I suspect that a lot of folks figured we would be in real trouble offensively after losing Hayes to graduation. I've known all along that Hayes' backup last season would be starting for most other teams though. Carr can play and we won't miss a step in the QB department with him in there.
