CantStopTheChop
Will Riverdale start getting in their grove after geeting the kinks out or will they buckle under pressure? Does the Vol Commiment come and win Mccalie the game?
"COA" Man
Mccalie wins if Riverdale dosn't get their act together. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy was Riverdale. Remember, sloppyness can be blamed on the coach. Adelott is in a whole heap of trouble if they play like that against Mccalie. rollredroll
Looking forward to this one; definitely deserving of top billing in the state next week. How McCallie handles Riverdale's speed (which McCallie probably didn't see at RHS's level in the preseason), and how Riverdale handles McCallie's strong passing attack (which Riverdale probably didn't see at McCallie's level in the preseason), will spell the difference in this one. TDCman
Mccallie really looks to be loaded. They have preseason all-state QB, RB, and WR. This will be a game where we'll see what our defense really has. We didn't get much push against Siegel until late in the game. We'll have to be much better this week. Can someone from Mccallie give us a preview of the facilities and campus? I expect we'll see a lot of people show up on this thread with an agenda but let's keep it about a game between these two fine teams. Games like this are really what it is all about. I know I'm looking forward to it. Riverdale fans...don't forget the time change or you'll be late.
footballisgreat
McCallie has a beautiful, easy to get to campus with limited parking. Campus security will be there directing people to the best parking available. The players will have no problems as the field and facilities are top notch and thats what really matters. The fans may have a few complaints as the concessions and restrooms are limited. I would assume they will open the student activities center for more access to restrooms. The seating on the visitor side is about what your stadium has but the home side is about a third less. Come early though everyone I have talked to whose kid isnt playing somewhere else wants to see this one.

There will be a lot of people coming to this game so I would imagine McCallie will open up the sports and activities center to accomodate everyone. They're expecting a big crowd so I think they'll be prepared from a concession point of view. All the best to both teams.
Bavio
On Mccallies website it says that the visitors seating area holds about 1300 people. It is going to be very crowded on both sides of the stands. I think that there shouldnt be issues with restrooms or concessions. All fans might think about carpooling to help the parking issue. Oh ya and McCallie Blue Tornado will win this one because of the mental toughness. Edited August 20, 2006 by Bavio
