I was wrong on the ambush, but what a game!

 

RHS up by 14 with 5:00 to go. McCallie ties it with under 0:30 to go in regulation. Riverdale gets kickoff and tries to pass on offense (hello, Coach A?) with 0:22 to go; McCallie INT. On last play of game, Hail Mary is caught by McCallie in end zone. TD McCallie; McCallie wins.

I can not remeber the last time we found a way to LOSE a game that was ridiculous. with 1:20 to go why not take a knee why are you trying to run a play and then when you havent thrown a pass all night you throw one in your territory i dont mind running a play there and maybe break one but to throw the ball was crazy and i have always hated prevent defense if you are stopping them keep running the same defense dont let the guy get into a rythym I can not remember the last time i was this mad over a loss good game McCallie congrats on the win apparently we did not want the win

As an aside, hats off to the radio crew for Riverdale. The broadcast was lacking of much emotion most of the game (and there was very little background noise; where was the broadcast booth located?), but the crew did a good job of maintaining its composure at the end in what was a gut-wrenching loss for Riverdale. Very professional; kudos.
