HaveitYourWay
Can Powell give Maryville a game? Or will Maryville's 1st team watch the second half again? Did you mean second half or second quarter? Nothing against Powell, Murvul's just that good.

osunut2
I'm with my buddy, PowellFan. Powell has no offensive identity, let alone an offense. Once McCallie got confidence against their D, it was all over. This won't even be a speed bump. I'm picking Maryville 45-3. mikey65
Powell will fix their mistakes and pull off an upset for their home crowd by the score of 26-20.
osunut2
I thought that Powell would play their best game of the year last night, and for a quarter and a half, their defense kept them in it. However, if the offense has a short field 3 times in a row, and you can only manage 2 field goals, its a big letdown for the D, especially against a team like McCallie. This has been the story all year. Powell's D has been pretty good, but the offense just can't make plays. Against Webb, everytime they made a play, a fumble or a penalty would kill their drive. They had the same problems against Lenoir City. I just don't see Powell finding the right offensive gears anytime soon. PowellFan
LOL mikey Noone has pulled off an upset over maryville in a while now so get real man, IM sorry I hate to rag on them, but unless they learn to throw a ball and catch it then they wont do anything against maryville. I like huff, hes a good running back, but hes way to small to run the ball everytime, Im sorry but he just doesnt have the ability to run over people cause of his size. Hes not gonna break the corner against maryville they are too good. Maryville shut down Watts last year, If cruze trys to run they will do the same. Sorry i just dont see it happening. OSU, You going to the game tonight, Or you gonna watch tex and osu. that will be a good game. I got a ticket from work Row 2 on the 50 for this and next week. So im gonna be having some fun. I definitely agree. We gotta be realistic, as much as I would love Powell to pull the stunner, Maryville is still the real deal. I wonder if Powell can even do anything against Maryville's 2nd and 3rd teamers? Nice tickets for tonights game! I'll be watching OSU-Texas with some of my OSU alumni friends, but I'll be cheering for the Vols at the same time. Go Bucks!
