I think the fan poll is closer to being accurate, but I'm going to watch this as the season goes on and see how close it is in the end.

Wow and thanks. Had not realized Arlington was doing so well. Are they perhaps being overlooked? They're not one of the names you usually see at the top in 5A.

If you look at another set of rankings (SOS rankings) we have you can see that Arlington's opponents have won only 25% of their games which only means it may be too early in the season to tell how well Arlington will do. Those rankings become more accurate as the season progresses.

yeah wheni saw arlington was 4-0 and had to start a thread and find out some about them...i like the sos link you have posted here thanks as i take my voting seriously and try to do a good job i also found it intresting to see Riverdale SOS was 42nd games aginst Blackmon with 1 win and siegel with 0 wins sure does hurt a strength of schedule

I can't put Arlington with the state's elite 5A squads when they don't play a schedule consisting of 5A foes and are not playing for the ultimate prize.

I'm a little curious about that as well. When your only loss is to a very good McCallie team you can't be too bad.

 

I hate to admit it, but just looking at who has played who this early in the season, Franklin looks like they've got the team to watch.

Dobyns-Bennett whooping up on Oak Ridge is impressive as well.

coming from someone that is a fan of oakland team that is real impressive but please let me know how we havent impressed u ??? had a horrrible game against siegel then dominated one of the top teams in he state and then blew it then blew out blackman (no surprise) then blew out LC a good football team but whatever think what u want rhs should be higher but thats ok we will be as the season goes on
