Sycamore needs to win this game to get in the playoffs. This game could make them or break them. Lohin needs to keep leading the offense and putting up numbers, while the defense must be consistent on making big stops. Sycamore's defense is the key in this game.

It all depends on whether or not Justin West is back. The extent of his injury seems to be a mystery to everyone. Does anyone know?

 

If West doesn't play, look for a repeat of the Beech game. WH's passing game has been non-existent for two years now. Four interceptions this week, along with obvious scenarios where the QB and Receiver were not on the same page provide all the proof you need.

 

They never had a chance against Beech, especially after the halftime, which afterwards, Beech came out with a very well-planned, adjusted gameplan (and we didn't), and seeing how easily Smith County beat Macon County, and how bad Portland is turning out to be, makes me question really how far down the season can go, and if the playoffs are even a possibilty.

I think you will see a different Blue Devil team this week.Our intensity just hasnt been there for a couple of weeks.This is about the time we turned the corner last year.We arent done yet, and I think we will be up for a challenge this week.I know I am biased but here goes. WH 31 Sycamore 21
