GWAVE1
Linebackers are the key here. With the way Bell has been putting pressure on the qbs this year and Parker has been containing the run and with Miller mopping up the rest, Antioch will have to be very creative. Glencliff had some success throwing the ball and Antioch will as well. The Gallatin offense must improve to compete with Antioch which is just the start of a big region run. Antioch's defense had a great game against the high powered Hillsboro team. And with Ravenwood's exoffensive coordinator at the helm with a win against Gallatin 2 years ago, Gallatin could have a very tough night. Who plays and who doesn't will determine the type of gameplan instore for Friday. Hopefully Harper and Holder will be ready to go.
just1np
Gotta have those guys, things really changed when the left the game. It will come down to who makes plays. I think there will be chances for big plays by Gallatin's defense- interceptions, sakcs, fumbles, etc.. But at the same time I think Antioch will have just as many chances to break the big play. And that is really their only hope. I don't see them getting a lot of long scoring drives. All of their scoring will likely come off of big plays, a reverse, double pass, broken tackle, that kind of thing.
Footballfan15
Antioch has a good chance to win if they play tough D like they did last week.
shadow
If the green wave can't pass the ball very well; then they will have trouble moving the ball vs. Antioch. Antioch's O- line needs to block the lbers to be successful running the ball.
War Eagles
Gallatin 28 Antioch
just1np
Gallatin 28 Antioch 7 I think 17-10 is more likely, whoever wins. I'm leaning towards Gallatin, but I'm a homer.
Footballfan15
I was impressed with Antioch last week, I'm going with them.
just1np
If you look at Antioch's record it makes you scratch your head. They started out 3-0 averaging about 30 points a game. Now they've lost two straight and only score about 10 points a game. And another thing- They are 2-1 versus 4A schools, 1-1 versus 5A schools. LILAL
My ankle's a little sore. Got a touch of gas too. Those problems are an occupational hazard when metro teams have to play GALLATIN. Tune up your banjo and take the beat down with some rolaids. nununu
Antioch in a shocker! Antioch repays Gallatin from the 2004 season when we came in at 5-0 and ranked 3rd in the state, only to lose 7-0. Identical records, just reverse, during that year if I am not mistaken.
