The Raider defense held Overton to 3 points in the first half of last week's game. I think the rain and lightning was a bit of a distraction for them in the second half when Overton scored their other 36 points. The Raiders have this game won if they can stay focused like the first half of last week's game. With Ryan Harris back, you will probably get to see some double digit differential in the final. Raiders win easily.

We all seen how Coffee County can bounce back from a tough loss. Granted it was against Cumberland Co., but still it shows alot of heart in this team. We lost last week to John Overton, which is again a tough loss, so let's see how the Raiders respond this week. I don't think weather will play a factor this week, supposed to be nice from what I gather. If the raiders can keep their heads in the game, spread the field like they did against Cumberland, have no idea what they did against John Overton since I wasn't there, then Coffee Co. can produce some big numbers. As mentioned with Harris returning, I see a double digit W for Coffee Co., and Harris having at least 2 INT's. Good luck though goes out to Franklin Co. Let's see a good game!

Hey. Maybe some FC fan will, I don't know, throw a Franklin County relic out on the field after a bad call and get a 15 yard unsportsman-like penalty against their team this year. You know... like CC had happen last year. For all we the refs knew, it could have been an FC fan over on the Raiders' side that threw the little football after a very bad call. Maybe we will see that happen in this game with FC. It would only be fair. Not that I endorse such activity, but it was a lousy call by the officiating crew last year.

Raiders will win if Price has his head in the game. lol

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
