Owl-Tracker
Original post updated Original post updated Now that we know who has 'em are you planning to host a AAA JV state championship tournament DonCChatt? Seems like they should get something for all their hard work, besides a promise of Varsity play in some hoped for future season. BTW just wondering... Do other schools let Seniors play on their JV squads?

Do other schools let Seniors play on their JV squads? I'm just a parent with questions. I'd love to see a State JV tournament. I have no idea how something like that could get organized. I agree with all the hard work. I see our JV girls practice just as hard and as long as varsity, and for little or no recognition. Just the hope that they work their way into varsity. Regarding Seniors and JV, I doubt there are any rules, except perhaps at the school or team level. Our JV is mostly Freshman and sophomores, with one junior. I believe I've seen on GPS's or Baylor's JV lists Seniors. I suspect that come junior or senior season, if somebody doesn't think they will make varsity and/or get any playing time, then many/most decide it isn't worth it.
