I think they are just playing a J.V. schedule this year.

I think there will be a Stewart Creek High School in rutherford county right outside of Smyrna to the west within the next few years.

Hancock County's adding a program in either '07 or '08.

They are already playing JV right now... If they don't play full varsity and join Region 1A next year, they'll have to wait until 2009 to join because they can't just come in and mess up every other teams schedual in the middle of the two year contract.

Another high school in Rutherford County? Which high school will be affected? Lavergne? Wasn't there supposed to be a new high school being built in Antioch?

Knoxville is building a 50 million dollar high school in west Knoxville set to open in August of 2008 called Hardin Valley High School. They will take students from Bearden, Farragut and Karns.

The plan is to have another High school in Clarksville by the end of 3 years. It will be number 8 if you count CA.

$50 Million, hah. Leave it to the politicians to screw it up. They have already started construction but are now trying to "find" the $. As usual, Knox County politicians messing with the kids of the community future. They are looking for ways to take money from other projects to fund this school.
