I saw the Trenton game and here's what I thought. Trenton played great was IMO lucky to win the game. Cedric is a beast on offense, LBs have a ton of speed and....the DBs are bad. Harper would run around and then throw a ball that hung for 5 secs and peabody always came down with the ball. Also on offense I have to agree Weathers runs hard but he's tiny....He was trying to run through people twice his size. Vision is what really makes a running back.

 

Im glad somebody actually watches the game. Our Dbs are as bad as they have ever been and our running game is the same.... Outsider15, just open your eyes and you would notice it to....

You must have me mixed up with someone else (go backand look at my post)... I will agree with you on all accounts but I would add the OL and DL + the Linebackers to the list of underachievers so far. Our special teams may be the best part of the team so far. Room for plenty of blame to go around.

 

But you know what can make all the bad feelings go away...just win Fri nite and we will be talking about how good we can be instead of how bad weve been.

One more thing about weathers, I love the fact that he is hardnose and loves to hit people, but there is a point when you just have to be smart. Its like he runs with his eyes closed. Good backs know when they need to make a move and when they need to just plow foward and get all they can. He just dont have those instincts yet. Just watch macadams on kickoff returns and when he catches the ball. He always makes a move and gets extra yardage. Thats one reason i think that if donald aint going to be able to play rb we need to try macadams there.

 

 

A good rule to follow is the one that Adrian Donald follows, "I don't like to get hit." It usually helps to get yards. Maybe.

O.K. It took me awhile but i finally figured out what is wrong with huntingdon. There are not enough people on here running them down. especially their own fans. :justwrestle:

all i can say is that year in and year out milan and huntington are 2 0f the best teams in west tenn. i'll be pullin for the dawgs(class of 79) but if huntingdon wins it. then good for them. they are a great bunch of athletes with great community support behind them. huntingdon players and fans are always a class act whether at milan or at huntingdon. to the victor belong the spoils so if the dawgs can't win the region, i hope the stangs can. it's gonna be a great game whether it's close or a blowout because the support for both teams makes it great."GO DAWGS"

I agree. I don't have any ties to either school, but this is always the game to gotto in week 7. Its always a great game with some 2 top notch teams playing quality football.

that goes both ways. never had a problem at milan and i think that is just a lot of respect from both towns and players. you dont ever see anybody on here that cant get along and thats scary. you have to respect milan theyve been good for a long time.

Does anyone have Donald's stats this year so far. I know hes been dealing with that hamstring but i havent heard any numbers yet. Congrats to Chris and Hntington for him making it to the All-American Bowl. He probably would have never made it if he wasn't playing for a good team that wins games.

Im pretty sure what we are saying on here isnt going to effect them. If somebody was talking about me not playing good it would make me want to play better, not lay down like what your thinking. Im pretty sure mansfield dont sit around telling them how good they are. We are just commenting on the things that need work, which is alot right now.

Titans02, I am disappointed in you - however you have always been handed things on a "golden platter" - oops I'm sorry - "golden ball".

 

Build these boys up to play well - don't wear them down before the game even starts!!!
