it's funny you guys criticize what i say but you keep on bringing stuff up. you know i have to give my opinion. i don't claim to be smart but i know one thing... you ain't either. for your info...im not against the rebels until they start braggin and mouthin. you know just like i do that huntingdon played with their guys hurt and they were definitely not 100% cause of their injuries. You can't ignore a QB that i heard was injured like that. he(Crocker) just played with a lot of heart. don't know about Chris Donald except what I read. Doesnt seem to be another player like him in West tenn., past or present. you give yourselves too much credit for beating a "lame" team. they also got beat by trenton and will prbly get beat by milan this friday and humboldt. and where will you rebels be come sat. morning? we'll see soon enough.

**oh by the way, even when I do give a complement to somebody on your team its kind of funny how you react. All of a sudden its a TEAM effort. Ive read enough to know that kind of thinking has only come about recently. i read lots of your threads to and I never heard the TEAM thing last year.

I think the rebs wins out the regular season if they play ball. Got good balanced attack and decent line play on both offense and defense. Could be the year the Rebs make some noise in the post season. Got to watch out for those Fayette Academy Boys! Beside them, I think yall got a good shot at the boro this year. Dont get over confident, just stay hungry every Fri nite.

I wasn't referring to last year when I said we don't have stars we have a TEAM!!!! Read what we have actually said and not what you want to twist it to be or take a hike!!!!

The H-town game is over and in the books. People like you can't see the forrest for the trees. Everybody knows that Huntingdon has had injury problems this season. Not many (if any) of the 'Stangs big guns were missing when we played though. We haven't had ill will toward Huntingdon for all the whippin's they have put on us and we didn't say anything bad about Huntingdon before we played two weeks ago or after we played for that matter.

Obviously it's pretty much lodged in your craw that we actually beat the 'Stangs!!! And NO I didn't bring this back up------YOU did!!! Excuses are like elbows, everybody probably has a couple of 'em. We weren't busy for a week making excuses after all the times ya'll beat us in the past. If you'll go away and get off our threads, I promise you that we won't come look you up again. If you're gettin' on the Rebels threads and talking crap to us you're mighty right we're gonna respond to you AND, YOU ARE THE ONE "BRINGIN' IT UP". Just because you don't belong here and we do!!!

Have a nice evening and week!

its great that we have freedom of speech and a free country, i have seen you talk in many of the threads, but your comments seem to be negitive about the rebels.past and present. you must feel rejected or something did they do something to you sam, are you a rebel wanna be or has been.

GO STANGS PROUD OF YOU ALL

thumper13,

I don't think this guy (or girl??) is one of us! If so they sure feel rejected or something. Sam is surely different from the rest of us on our threads if that's the case. I kinda smell a trouble maker here myself.

Maybe it's just someone that's ticked off 'cause the Huntingdon and McKenzie fans didn't get into it on here this season. I am kinda proud of us for that myself.

Good luck against the Dawgs!

OK ya'll, I'm through talking to that idiot Sam. Back to football in the near future.

Rebels, get your minds right and your eyes on the prize before Friday night. Then is the next step in a long road to that prize. Put up another W Friday night and you're half way to the prize.

Ya'll have it in you, just keep the fire lit and burning bright.

MRP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SAm i've been reading your bullcrap for three weeks. And i'm physically sick of it. I don't know which team you are a fan of but, you wouldn't make a wart on a good fan's butt.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
