I think Sylvester is better than what you think he is. Of course Coty is good, and im not picking either one as better, but think when he gets back with both of them on the same court.

Science Hill beat Cetral,good game on both sides,any other scores? South-Tn High in particular.

Dobyns-Bennett beat Volunteer by around 20, maybe a little more. Sylvester was the high scorer with DB, while Cradic was the high point man for Volunteer.

Tennessee High beat south by 13 sumthin like 55-42 not sure exactly. Turnbull,Rose,and Seymore had good nights along with Cory Young handling the ball. Wiley scored some early but was shut down for the most part the rst of the game and Reid Powell was not a factor at all.

Dont kid yourself! Summer '05 he "played up" on the area AAU team and competed very well against the nation's best. He would start on any other area team. OH, did you forget he is a sophomore (and not one that is "old for his class"). You are right about Sylvester not playing over Sensabaugh, but not for talent or lack of. Morgan will start Sensabaugh the first night he comes back, he can do no wrong. C Morgans has gone from yanking boys out when they missed a shot, to leaving players in that get technicals and cost DB the game! Oh, he will start when he comes back, BUT he will be out of gas!!!! And he will never get a chance to refuel before the end of the season. 8 weeks and no running, he will never catch up. Not including a football seaon where they did NO conditioning. Another question might be, are we going to see Sylvesters name all year? Is he going to play baseball?

I agree...it was not pretty. Outside shooting is not there and they gott knoxk down the FREE throws (emphasis on the free). And the inside players are too big to be laying shots on the rim only to fall off....slam it home my man!

But how about the Leeper kid! That was an awesome sight to behold.

The refs were in mid season form as well last night....I know there were 19 fouls on the board with about 3 minutes left in the 2nd period and there were at least 18 in the 2nd half. There were about 4 charges called in as many trips down the court...very sloppy. And there were times when it looked like a kid was going to get hurt going for the ball before the refs would blow the play dead. Not pretty

I have played againist Blake at the Y a few times and it is amazing what he can do. Great kid too.
