matt86
This game will be close either way. USJ could possibly have two region wins before this game starts and that could make a difference in how bad they want it. Westviews strong front 4 won't have much of an impact in this one because USJ will probably run the spread again to avoid Martin's strength. If Martin has fast corners then USJ probably won't score. If not, Martin could be in for a long night. Great post, USJ really hasn't run the ball well all year (except last week against a weak run defense) and probably won't Friday. But like you said, it all boils down to the passing game, whoever is more successful in that area takes is home.

12yr.oldchamps
The 12 yr old is growing up!!! That was my opinion on the Martin/USJ game. I think you know my opinion of USJ. I personally know some parents of USJ students and there are some good people there. However, my opinion of the football program and its' leadership is bush league at best. Sorry, but I call it like I see it.
uctfan
I want to see what everybody thinks about the USJ-Westview game this friday at Westview. USJ showed some great offense last friday against Gibson County. Also please tell some Westview stats. Pick USJ or Westview. Westview, NO PROBLEM. They really have things going well for them. I saw them against U C and then on film/tape. Their defense is really good and DEFENDS the passing game well. Westview by 32 or more !!!! USJ just hopes it will because thats all they can do. It dosn't take a rocket scientist to look at usj's record and discover that throwing the ball 90% of the time just dont get it done in region 7aa. Westview will line down, OUT HIT, out play, out coach, out class, and far outscore USJ. I expect a shut out. Westview-28 USJ-
montague1
Westview should easily take this game.

USJ is gunna want it. And they can get it. USj 21 WV

USj 21 WV 14 And who I might ask is GC ( Gibson County ). They have never really had much in the way of a football program there unitl last year when the " UPSET " Obion County. Now, if USJ had beaten " Milan " that might be a different story. The ole public school will show out in this game. Chargers by 32!!! CoachD33
Has Westview played a team that will throw the ball deep? Run defense and pass defense are different things. Westview had five picks last week against Dresden. They can defend the pass as well.

OBWON
Although USJ's offense has not been much, last friday they doubled their points for the season. They had 215 rushing yards and didn't even need to try to throw the ball. Hardegree was 8-16 with 91 yards. Also USJ has a tremendous defense, a great front four, with the top two tacklers in west tennessee at linebacker as of two weeks ago. I pick USJ by 10. You sound like a USJ coach trying to "pump up" his players to believe in themselves. "Tremendous defense"? ? ? Westview will win. That's all that matters.
