papatiger
If Cruz is still playing, Houston County takes this one this year in a close battle.
RuleCheck
No way that two lack luster teams have the best rivalry in this region It probably creates the most hate between schools in the region. That or Waverly and Camden.

@38320
Stewart and Houston are like the Hatfields and McCoys. They even share one newspaper for two counties! Now that's country: I don't care who you are.
Hoosier_101
Can't disagree with you on that. These two schools may not be the top teams in region or district play, but they do have a pretty bitter rivalry that's been lasting for many years. Friday night is No exception. Lack luster or not, the Rebel-Irish rivalry shall continue
papatiger
why did you make that statement? I thought I read somewhere that he had gotten hurt last week. If that's true it really hurts Houston County. Is it true?

tnare
if cruz is hurt then id say its a definate win for sc but if hes not hurt, then id still say its a deffinate win for sc. i think its gonna be a shut out, and a big one at that with sc coming out with the victory and ringing that bell of theres afterwards. Lions4ever
I thought I read somewhere that he had gotten hurt last week. If that's true it really hurts Houston County. Is it true? It wasn't Cruz...it think it was # 34...looked like to me he was taken off the field with an air cast on his leg...but I haven't heard anything about his condition.
