Parking at Cosby

I am planning on coming down for Friday's game and need to know how the parking works at cosby. Will I need to bring my walking shoes?

No walking shoes required, but I would either get to Cosby early or I would bring a folding chair. Unless you don't mind standing. Honestly, I would get to the school around 5:00 if I was wanting to sit in the stands.

How is the seating? Are the visitor and home side by side or across the field from each other?

It's all on one side , and we can seat nearly 1000 , but there is plenty of extra room like behindtheline says for standing or folding chairs, but you may need to bring your walking shoes if you get there too late you may have to park across the street from the school. Its not a terribly long walk but it's all up hill.

Maybe u guys can rope us off a section like in basketball? seems like there was 5000 in that gym

I agree that folding chairs would be a good idea.

 

Hopefully, there might be some deputies or volunteer firemen helping with parking. The student parking up "tha hill" will fill up fast and it's a headache getting turned around and getting out of there after not finding a spot.

You might try going past the 1st entrance and parking down at the softball field.

 

Maybe we can get some of the Cosby Boys to load up their pick-ups full

of Hampton fans at Wal-Mart and "shuttle" them to the game.

I've been to Cosby once in my lifetime, and I found this topic title kinda funny.

 

Do they still allow parking on the lower Softball field area?

If you come after halftime you'll find plenty of seats. Most of the Cosby fans will be on their way home.
