You take Anderson Co. off of that list altogether and replace them with Gibbs and I'd say you have it about right. The Mavs are a team headed nowhere anytime soon.

That may be true but right now it looks like Gibbs is going to the playoffs. Scott will be eliminated after this week's loss to Kingston and Anderson Co. is just a bad football team this year.

Well if Kingston wins that game then Region 2-3A will be one of the first regions to have it's four playoff representatives locked into the postseason. Region 3-3A can lock it's four representatives in this week as well if Polk Co. takes care of Sequoyah. Region 8-3A will do the same thing as well because somebody has to win the Hillcrest-Frayser battle. I love this part of the year because we now find out who is truly playoff worthy and who is going to be at home watching the playoffs (which I'm sorry to say is where Scott will be).

I totally understand your point, but the topic was top 10 of the two regions not who's going to the playoffs. If Gibbs can win one of the next two games they are in. I just don't think that Gibbs could beat any of these teams on a regular basis. They did beat Rutledge, but lost to Scott Co.

Well Fulton and Knox. Catholic could own both region 1 and 2...and I think Kingston or AE could come to region 1 and give Carter a run at being #1 or 2 but it would be a good game..

Austin-East has got to be #3 in front of Knoxville Carter. And I am not so sure that Carter should be in front of Kingston. We will soon find out in the playoffs.

You also are entitled to your opinion, but AE has not shown what they need to to be ahead of Carter in my opinion. It is obvious that AE is doing much better once they got past the better teams in the league. If Carter wins out in its region it will play the loser of AE Kingston game, and will probably take on the winner the next week.

With Fulton losing those three guys, I think Catholic now has the edge. Fulton has more talent, but Catholic is a better team. I don't know about Top 10, but my top 5 is
