gomab2
Whites Creek will be very good, but they did lose arguably their best player in Wil Peters, along with starters Rouse and Jordan. Grahm and Harper will lead this team... Antioch is very talented but still could be a year away from their big run. Mcadoo, Williams, and Upton are all Juniors. Hatcher is a senior though. Should be the most athletic and most size of any team in middle TN. Has anyone hear if Tahj Wells is still at Antioch?????? And of course Oakland will be outstanding. Great backcourt in Allen and Wade, but watch for the much improved Kit Carlton (6'8) to really help this team... Riverdale should be good as well in the same district, with all-everything wing Kevin Smith, scorer Scott Thomas, and a good supporting cast led by EJ Wilcox, Joey Lee, etc... Watch out for my pick, Mt. Juliet... This is a sleeper team, but will surprise a lot of people. Coach Troy Allen is an excellent coach, and they boast one of the top wings in Middle TN in Jeremy Dixon, as well as one of the Top PG's in Demond Craig. 6'6 Corey Payne adds size and strength down low. This team could really surprise this year... Also watch for Clarksville High. With Tyrone Caldwell as one of the State's top 08 PG's, as well as break out years from Lavonte Henderson and Shawn Merriweather, this team has a chance to be very good... cobrafan90
Cody Hatcher is not eligible at Antioch. He is a Sr academically, but this is his 5th yr in HS. Taj is at Antioch and should be on the team. That should offset that loss some. Whites Creek will go as far as Jamie Graham and Monte Harper carry them. No height whatsoever. Look for Robert Ellison to have a breakout yr with more minutes. He will also free Jamie up to score more. The biggest loss is Wil Peters, an amazing competitor. juice00
1. Oakland- The best team in middle Tennessee, no arguments, played against them last year, the team to beat this year 2. Whites Creek- Seen them play this summer 5+ times, very good, very athletic, losing Peters will hurt but they will still be in Murfreesboro 3. MLK- best AA team in middle Tennessee, great coaching, great school, great progarm 4. Brentwood Academy- No big brother, no boone, 5 in a row- maybe 5. David Lipscomb/ White House, two suprise teams, played each other this summer, Lipscomb won by 4, both should be in Murfreesboro
