It is a sad state of affairs for Oak Ridge football this year. Coming off a great year in 2005 and to be 5-4 and not making the playoffs in 2006 is embarrassing.

 

What is Coach Stevens doing? He obviously had no clue how to handle losing our star quarterback Conner Gulmire. He started Soph Tyler Clark tonight and he led the team down to a touchdown on the first drive. He then made a mistake on the next series and he did not play again. What the heck are you thinking coach? You handled that about like you handled the entire season.

 

Hopefully you can figure something out in the off-season, you will have plenty of time to think about it. I will tell you this, one more season like this one and you will have to be sending out your resume.

 

Congrats to the seniors. I am sorry it had to end this way. Go out and beat the Admirals!

 

There is one good thing that comes out of this, we get the basketball players after next week and we can concentrate on basketball come November 14.

Watched Gallatin tonight! I didn't see anything that a Ooltewah or Farragut couldn;t beat.

Ooltewah had some big hits on Oak Ridge. Is Oak Ridge's linebacker alright? I saw the ambulance came. O.R. had 25 total yards in the 2nd half and 105 in the whole game. Great defensive game Ooltewah. Owls had 300 yards.
