PLACALL
HolySnap YOU ARE DILUSIONAL Wake up. Go to a game. Stand on the sideline. Playball. Although I do think Fulton is a great Team, if you think that they should be excused for mistakes that they make --you deserve to be ridiculed. They are and always have been cocky. Who cares if they are. Even before they were winning and playing for state championships they were cocky. That is all part of playing the game. To say they don't talk trash is crazy. I have not seen a team this year that has not talked trash. Even the teams getting spanked. When I saw the Catholic Webb game they were both talking trash. To think that an inner-city team does not talk trash is not real smart. Being from the inner-city is still not an excuse for stealing, shooting, disrespect, and other forms of stupidity. Many of us did not have the great upbringing others had. You are giving them the excuse to be worthless dads for thier kids. Just because people are done wrong does not excuse the behavior. I guess just becaue John Wayne Gasey was molested as a kid gives him the right to molest and murder as a kid ---huh?
That1Guy
I wouldn't guarantee anything on this game.It can easily go either way. Kingston is not the great team like Fulton,Catholic, and AE. The scoreboard of those games says that. And although Fulton ran straight through Carter, they did the same to Kingston. It just depends on who comes to play..I am a region 2 fan..I thinki it is the hardest region to play in in the state but I'm not going to count anything out. Carter has some formidable athletes and Kingston has 2 playmakers. The QB is the one to watch..He can take over a game on his own. The Rb is ok but needs his line's help to do anything. Carter has beat everyone on their schedule except Fulton. Kingston has Ls to the original 3 but also to add Loudon(2nd only to ALCOA in their region) and ESCAPED from Rockwood and was given all they wanted by Oliver Springs....So I wouldn't go gurantee anything..This team isn't like Gibbs or Rutledge etc..where they are big and slow or even small and slow...This is Carter and whether you want to give them credit or not...Its pretty hard to go 10-0 through the regular season and 9-1 through the next...But ONE thing they will never make it past the second round no matter how good the record is. Well put, but as a sidenote, Carter has been 9-1 for the last two years during the regular season. In the last 21 games, they have three losses- 2 to Fulton, and 1 to the eventual state champion in 2005, Livingston Academy.
Solomon
All I know is that it's going to be a good night to watch football. This is going to be playoff weather. How's the Carter field look? Was it able to be repaired at all?

red neckerson
http://www.knoxnews.com//kns/prep_football...5110044,00.html thought this might interest Carter fans, some more than others based on previous posts. Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
GOLF07
Good game tonight. Carter really dominated just about the whole game, but Kingston's QB kept them in the game in the second half. Kingston capitalized on some Carter mistakes, and that led to the close score. I hate that it seems like Carter is backing into next week's game. I would have rather seen them finish strong.
red neckerson
Kingston is going to destroy carter just like fulton did. There is nobody in 1 3a that is going to come out of the first round of the playoffs. I gurantee it. What do guarantees from Bassfish, Enron stock, and teats on a boar hog all have in common? Solomon
Asolutely amazing. Is it impossible for a fan of a Region 2 team to actually admit a team beat you? Let me let you in on a little secret, Region 2 is not the tougest region in the state top to bottom. It's living on the hype of 2 teams, and that is it. Actually, as a overall region, I might rank it as low as 4th in the state this year behind regions 7, 4, and 5. Carter had a bad second half and still won by 2 TDs. I did not think Kingston was that good, basically a one man team. Their line should have absolutely dominated the game tonight but stood up every time the ball was snapped and couldn't stop the Carter run game. Cold nights are made for big linemen to dominate, and they didn't. They made the playoffs because outside of the big 2, Region 2 wasn't as strong as the bottom feeders claim it is in order to make themselves feel better this year. Carter whipped you, period. Get over it. Congrats go to Carter. Good luck against Fulton.
