Do you really think that little of region 3, that the region champs cannot out perform the #4 seed team from region 4? Come on give this poor region their props... you do realize that last year the #1 seed from this region(region 3) single handily went through the #4, #3,#2 seeds from region 4 by an avge of 21 points. Rocking Chair
I believe the the main pick is the last game. And since a region 2 team has won it all the last 4 out of 5 or whatever. I believe a team from that region will win it again. My favorite is Knox Catholic to win it all. However it won't be easy. They should get by Gibbs and will probably play Austin East (no stranger to the Clinic Bowl) and if they beat AE then they will face Fulton. A team IMHO that should be going for 4 Gold Balls in a row. Fulton has without a doubt the best athletes you will find on one team. But saying all that... I think Catholic will win it all WHY b/c they have the best of everything a school could want. Great coaching, great players, state of the art facilities and last and definitely not least the best player in the state in Harrison Smith. Write it down if nothing happens to him you will see Smith on Sunday afternoons. I know that other teams are very capable as well but until some other team wins it region 2 will once again bring home the GOLD. I'm not from Missouri but some other team will have to SHOW ME. FOOTBALLFAN1960
It is impossible for Fulton to score an odd number of points, crocket56. If you don't know why, then you probably shouldn't be making predictions. ..2 tds @6 pts each = 12..+ 2 extra points ==2 ==14 ..+ 1 field goal @ 3 pts==3 therefore 12+2 +3===17..now you need a name change

Big Country
FULTON does not have a kicking game so when they have the football one of four things is going to happen. They are going to score 8. They are going to score 6. They are going to punt. They are going to turn the football over. Fulton will never end a game with an odd digit on the scoreboard. PERIOD!!!! WaynePoo
The finalist from the eastern part of the State will be from Region 2. Knox Catholic or Fulton. The seniors from Catholic have got to be thinking of the Quarter-final... although, you take one game at a time. these kid have to have this in the back of their heads. 2 yeard ago after an undefeated regular season they lost to a 7-3 Notre Dame team, and last year going 9-1 lost to a 5-5 Livingston team. Both team they defeated earlier in the regular season games. So, mental toughness is a big part of this game and the ability to beat the same team twice in one season plays a big role also. It's beyond me how a team with that kind of talent can't come up with a kicker. Against LA friday night their kicker hit it around the goal line every time they kicked off .. and they kicked off several times as they cruised to a 54 to 0 score. Of course it could be they have no snapper or holder but still with the talent they have every year it's a mystery to me.
