at Tullahoma We usually have around 4 part time instructors who we see about two to three times a week.

During Concert Season we have had Julie Davila teach lessons one day per week

for Marching Season:

Don Radford throughout the season about two days a week, write our book.

Phillip Gregory: Instructor during band camp, writes book

Dr. Sean McBride: Helps instruct, tune drums, small changes and improvements to our book

Overall I think we have one of the best percussion instructor staffs one can find. Not there everyday, but that puts more responsibility to improve on the students then if they were at every rehersal, and it has proved to be very successful in the past few years.

Julie Davila she is a BEAST (meaning the bomb)

when she was at oakland she made our drumline into the best in the state

im glad the tullahomah kids are profiting from her. our current percussionists dont exactly deserve her.

yeah she is good. so is her husband, Lalo. he's great.

but as for your statement about Oakland being the best in the state. thats def. wrong. the best in your COUNTY is LHS. no doubt.

and that goes for the middle TN region as well.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
