titans89
Springfield @ White House week 3 As I stated in an earlier thread White House's Schedule is not carved in stone. There is still NOT a firm deal with Alcoa and the week 2 and 3 games are not finalised. But Alcoa only has a week 0 and week two game open.Week 0 is our Sumner Co jamboree. rollredroll
MBA 2007 August 24 Antioch August 31 at Independence September 7 Baylor September 14 Hillsboro September 21 at Pope John Paul II September 28 at Ravenwood October 5 Ensworth October 12 Brentwood Academy October 19 OPEN October 26 at Father Ryan November 2 at McCallie I love the fact there are some local 4A/5A matchups being established (Ravenwood, Independence) and renewed (Hillsboro, Antioch). I do find it interesting that the Trinity (KY) series was not renewed. Thoughts? I have mine.

I'm sure the Hillsboro coach, being from CA, wonders what the heck is everyone's problem, and Rector at Ravenwood has certainly understood the advantages of scheduling tough games in the early season. As far as Trinity...they clearly don't want their mythology damaged any further! I haven't seen a BA schedule yet. Yale Formation
I'm a die-hard Hillsboro fan & I think it's GREAT that some of the local high schools are playing each other regardless of the public/private brew-ha that seems to linger. Just let the kids strap it up & play!! Heck, a lot of 'em know each other anyway. This schedule looks great for MBA also; they're not going to have to spend nearly as much time riding a bus to god knows where...looks like they still have a couple of long distance games, but not nearly as many last year. Hopefully the schedule will be a home/away series for both schools. There should be an excellent gate for each school.
rollredroll
As far as Trinity...they clearly don't want their mythology damaged any further! Interesting twist on the KY message boards. A Trinity fan posted a 2007 schedule and it included MBA. Another Trinity fan, when questioned about the discrepancy between the posted Trinity schedule and the schedule shown on the MBA website (with Antioch and not Trinity), said Trinity's schedule is "official, but not official, official" and that there was "some deal about if MBA can return to [Trinity] in 08' based on some schedule issue". Sounds fishy to me, and I have a hard time believing MBA would commit to Antioch if a potential '07 Trinity game was still being worked. Nevertheless, I will reserve final judgment until further information surfaces.
