do you know anything about the sophmores(who will be juniors next year)?who are the athletes in this class?

 

Calm down, no disrespect intended I am a GC fan. Yes I know about all the boys who are on the GC team and there are some very good sophmores moving up. I was not discounting the boys who are already on the varsity team, there is some really good guys on it but since there is not much said about the GC freshman team I wanted to let people know that GC had some good players moving up to varsity! There record at the end of the season was 6-3 I'd say thats a pretty good record especially since they played mostly 4-5A teams. If you weren't related to one of the boys playing on that team you probably wouldn't have known there was even a freshman team.

Coach Thompson has no intentions of stepping down at Lincoln County any time soon. I spoke to him myself this week and he told me that himself, so I did not hear it "through the grapevine." I have also spoken to him about who he thinks might be his replacement when he does decide to hand over the reigns, and Although Coach O'Conner, Coach Palmer, and Coach Johnson would be obvious, and very good successors to the throne, you would be suprised at who else is at the very top of the list. (For those of you thinking it is his son, Jay, YOU'RE WRONG!!!!!!)

 

Ahhh....you must know what I know. I was kinda surprised at this fella's name when I was informed of it recently. But if Coach Thompson wants *our* (lol) guy, then he will get it!!!

I have it from THE highest authority that Coach Thompson isn't leaving anytime soon. SO SQUASH THAT RUMOR!!

 

He might leave sooner than you think! Especially if he starts loosing talent to other schools. I hear that we may get Lincoln County's best player. Coach Thomas is already making Marshall County a better football team. He understands that a lot has to be done in the offseason.
