Seems the midstate voters agree with me that Franklin should not go up until more teams lose 3 games. They are potent but given the record atm they aren't quite on the list. I do see them as being better than some of the teams on this list, though. A surprising shake up to the poll last time around, yes? We shall see how this new poll holds up throughout the start of district play this week and next.

Franklin should be in there. They are ranked 10th in the lastest Strength of Schedule rankings, higher than a lot of teams in the top 10. 14-3 aint bad for the schedule they have played.

Coacht schedule strength is one persons opinion. Oakland has a very fine team, but they cannot beat Whites Creek nor Antioch. Also Oakland has only played 2 quality teams York Insitute, please -all 3 schools are good and all 3 could make it to the state. I hope so, then Oakland will play one of the 2 district 12 powers.

1. Oakland

2. White Creek

3. Brentwood Academy

4. Antioch

5. LaVergne

6. Franklin

7. Independence

8. Riverdale

9. David Lipscomb

10. Clarksville

If Oakland cannot beat Whites Creek or Antioch, then why do you have them #1? If you've change your mind, thats great, but its strange considering you said something completely opposite awhile back

    • Starting to pick up for Sam. He has 4 or 5 offers now and more on the way. By mid season the Warriors should have 5 or 6 kids with offers.
    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
