Coach Smiddy is listed in the girls statistical information...a great accomplishment, obviously.

This was a discussion on boys victories, which would be why he isn't listed in the stats previously presented.

He certainly deserves recognition for his accomplishments, as well.

In 1918, how many high schools was around in this area. How did they travel from school to school. Did they have to ride horses or a stagecoach? Congrats to DB. I lived in Kingsport for 10 years before moving away 6 years ago, and they were always really good, Sullivan South ( the High School I would have gone to) never could beat them that I saw. Congratulations to the whole Program.
