Bledsoe's 3B signed with Cleveland State. Good player, hit .450 as a junior against a good tournament schedule and in a district where most of the teams had good to very good pitching.

Camden's Leah Hensley 5'9" RHP, BA .430 with a 23-2 W/L record her junior season, along with Brookelyn Pettyjohn 2nd baseman, BA .278 signed with Vol State last week.

Brittany Holland is her name.....She will do great at Cleveland St. and I wish her nothing but the best....

What I wish is that I'd had her for more than 1 game last summer. (Or about 2/3, before everyone thought a tornado was about to hit). Had a really good pitcher come in, nearly had an even better pitcher plus her catcher for the tournament, too, before they were picked up for a national type tournament out of state, and it just didn't go as everyone planned. I'm still disappointed over that, was even more at the time (that showed in the warmups and time before the game. lol). I was really aggravated by the no-shows-all of who I talked to just a couple of hours before-but not with any of the Pikeville girls that gave up their time and parents' gas money. I think last season sent me into early retirement,

Jessica Shannon, another Camden Lady Lion, signed to play college ball with Jackson State CC this week. Jessica has had a .600 slugging and a .406 BA through three years with the Lions.
