QUOTE(straightbill307 @ Feb 20 2007 - 01:30 PM) 826381223yes, the game has been changed to be played at Harpeth though

Harpeth won tonight 12-3. Harpeth started off pitching the sophomore Drew Johnson, then went to Trevor Hiltner, Matt Fiser, Zach Rushing, and finally the suprise closer Chase Birdwell.

Cory Hale opened up the gates with a base clearing double, it was bases loaded and he unleashed on a ball 10 ft away from grandslam in his second at bat of the season. Correct me if I am wrong Straightbill.

OH and it was Opposite Field.

It was a good day to play some ball. Naturally I made it just in time to talk to your parents in the parking lot..........

lol no but I look for him to get some W's this year along with Cory Hale and another suprising face on the mound. We will be using some arms this year in the District that other teams have never seen, and they are all seniors. Yeah I noticed you showed up kind of late tonight.

YES FINALLY HIT 500 POSTS! IM A CHALLENGER! LOL

QUOTE(straightbill307 @ Feb 21 2007 - 10:28 PM) 826383886Just heard that Jake West will not be playing for Stewart Co. this year, he has decided to play AAU Basketball. I hope it does him well with the whole scholarship thing, he deserves it. Good luck West. Tough loss for Stewart Co.

wow!!! that is a very tough loss for stewart co.

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
