This is going to be a tough district once again this year, MC is returning quite a few seniors and players, Sycamore is returning a good pitcher and Carrigan and middle infield I think, Waverly will most def. be in a race for the top this year IMO. Fairview, Cheatham, and Stewart Im not to sure about. I would rather not talk about Harpeth because I hate hearing very biased opinions from other people and I really dont want to sound like that because it gets annouying.

Creekwood will be in the thick of it when it's all said and done I think. You never know what some freshman phenom might do. I'm sorry to hear that Jake West won't be playing this year. I thought he was as good in baseball as he was in basketball. Harpeth's senior leadership is huge in my opinion. I'm ready for some baseball, but I don't want the basketball guys to lay an egg either, so I'll just say Go Indians!

sycamore has their first scrimmage tuesday against portland. it will probably get rained out but lets hope not. oh and does anyone know anything about portland. will this be a good scrimmage or a waste of time if it is played.

well cw played them in summer ball and they blowed us out the first time we played them then we beat them in the tournament, but its really hard to tell how good a team is in summer ball.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
