Unbeaten no more.....Lake County led throughout and staved off a furious comeback by Gleason's Lady Bulldogs in the semi-final round of the district tournament at Dresden..Gleason led once at 3-2.....

Sorry AOC..I posted on this game also..Looked like the same time..Big win as far as Lake Co seems to be a thorn in Gleason's side every year at tournament timeand gleason was undefeated

Congrates to Lake County, they played an awesome game. Gleason did not expect to go all the way unbeaten, as long as it is in a game that they can still recover from. They will be hard to beat from here on out, sometimes it is the best thing to get a loss under your belt. Takes off a lot of pressure. Good luck to all the teams that are still in the hunt. Remember the 99 team at Gleason, only team to not win District or Reigional tourneys, but still brought home the hardware! We still love the Lady Dawgs, play hard and put this one behind ya!! Best of LUCK!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I always think it is okay to have at least one defeat before tournaments? It will definitely make Gleason harder to beat! That is what makes the tournaments a true second season. Also, congrats to UC on their win. Lake County-Union City playing each other for District Title. Not expected!

WOW !! just shows ya how things can change on a dime

Everyone expecting and Gleason/Greenfield final but it's Lake Co./UC --

Don't worry Lady Bulldogs- this is not the regional semifinals - it's the district semis

so Gleason will be heard from again..

The Region tournament will be a slobber knocker!!

Give me the figurative definition of a slobber knocker. Is it different than one for the boys?

No, this does not make them harder to beat. This makes that doubt expressed in the newspaper article all more real. Gleason is a one man team. They will be sitting home with a 2 loss record after Region, once again claiming to be the best team not to make state.

Wow.. huge win for LC.. It seems as though LC has really learned how to play come tournament time.. Last year was the same way..Congratulations.. Gotta be a great feeling to beat an undefeated team in tournaments.. Wish we coulda been the ones! But LC has really improved and shown that they won't lay down.. Good luck to all teams from here on out!
