QUOTE(bigtuck4242 @ Apr 12 2007 - 10:51 AM) 826435832We got CA next week and then its Heritage. Hunters Lane is ok. They put up 11 and 13 on us, but that wasnt against our best pitching though. But they did have two guys go yard at Hunters Lane. The big first base man can straight rake! Throw him curves. If u put it in play to anybody besides SS and CF u should cause errors. there ace #15 is really good, but other then him there pitching isnt strong.

whos better Mclung or Hill?

Alright now that we're really talking baseball i can talk now...Tuck CA can hit the ball good, i'm not saying this to act like they're amazing or something but they can hit the ball around, pitching not that strong just like 70 mph fastball's but slow curves, gotta stay back a while...and our game got cancelled today so guess we'll have to remember those certain players next week cause we got them again next thursday...and i don't know who is better out of the 2...McClung is a little wilder than Hill so i would say Jared cause he can locate his pitches really good but McClung can throw it by you if your not ready to swing it quick...both pretty good though

QUOTE(ERBaseball25 @ Apr 14 2007 - 02:58 PM) 826437488yeah dude he is throwing hard now and we're already talked about CA...and district tournament is at Houston Co. this year

Aww thats kool! I think district should have been at our field this year. It is our turn and we have all the requirements. I know our field isnt the best, but it is still the same for both teams. Houston Co. is to far of a drive for every team excep them and Mcewen.

Tuck, you'll find out who's better when we play yall, and when the games are over, you can decide for yourself. Don't take that as a sarcastic comment either, that's just the truth. Both guys are pitching very well, and will continue to do so the more they take the mound. Seeing how I catch both of them, I think both are equally tough. Don't take what Hooper says lightly, but take it for what you think it's worth. On a different note, we have East Lit. this week. Good luck to everyone.

Ha ha Tuck yall ain't hosting nothing for a while...i would almost say just let NCS host it every year, i mean they have the nicest field in the district and its not to bad of a drive for anybody, its kind of central...and they both throw good for real Tuck but don't look past CA remember what i told you...ok what is up with McEwen cause they are splitting like every week with someone, do they have one really good pitcher or what? I'm just not understanding it all right now...big game with us today, we seem ready today at school so we'll find out around 4

Standings through 4 weeks of district play:

East Robertson 6-2 vs. NCS this week

Jo Byrns 6-2 vs. CA

NCS 5-3 vs. East Roberson

WH-Heritage 4-4 vs. East Literature

CA 3-5 vs. Jo Byrns

Houston Co. 3-5 vs. McEwen

McEwen 3-5 vs. Houston Co.

East Literature 2-6 vs. WH-Heritage

They have one pitcher who throws in the low 80's, but that's about it.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
