I am sure it will be looked upon by the judges or sportswriters as a great game for Ms. Delk and that her stats from last nights game were accumulated against a quality opponent. In my opinion most of the people who nominate these individuals for these prestigous awards in many cases have their minds made up who they are going to vote for before these poles are ever released, so very little that is done now will make that much of a difference.

I don't think it will in the end. Roney put up 14 points, and probably would have had a few more, had it not been for foul trouble, and quite honestly, the two weren't exactly going head-to-head guarding each other.

All voting is done before post season play starts. This will not effect anything at all.

Why did they play a night early?

because wednesday is a church night and region 7AA told TSSAA that they didn't want to play on a church night and have to make fans/players/coaches choose between church and ball

 

TSSAA said okay, just move it up a day and play girls final on tuesday, skip wednesday and boys final on thurs

 

i think rest of state should follow suit
