Crange swept RBS for the year, and the ladies in blue, despite those accuratly posted AP polls came in under the radar to where they've wanted to be since the season started. Should be an exciting game.

This should be a great ball game. You know Lamar will be out to get Jim for the thumping they got in the District.

 

Clarkrange played very well tonight against Red Boiling Springs. Not only did they shoot the ball well, but their zone defense kept our guards from getting the ball down low all night long. If an RBS post player wanted to get the ball, they had to run high to get it. Not a great night for the Red faithful. I'm sad to see one of our most successful seasons come to an end.

Congrats to the Lady Buffaloes on a very impressive performance against RBS. Congrats to RBS on a great season. They have a lot to be proud of. Sportmanship was excellent during the game! Kelli Rich and the other RBS seniors are a classy bunch. Everyone stepped up and played big for Clarkrange in the semis. Hope they do the same in the finals.

 

Not much time to celebrate the big win over RBS......Gotta get ready for Jackson Co. Should be a tough one. Can they beat us three times in a row???? The last one was an embarrasment.

 

Take note...its Grace and Temple in Region 3A. Grace will be favored. 4A loser will travel to Chattanooga.

 

...and if our area teams are successful...state brackets will pit these winners against one of the four teams...Unaka, Greenback, Oliver Springs, or Cloudland...I am real surprised Oneida got beat tonight. Oliver Springs is the top team in Class A in East Tennessee (imo).

 

RBS season ends 31-4...three losses to Clarkrange. RBS had a very very good team. They will make another run next year.

7-A came through, as is most often the case, but 8-A might be a lot tougher than we at first thought. Westmoreland played Clarkrange much tougher than Red Boiling Springs. Gordonsville was tough too.

 

Clarkrange beats Jackson County on Wednesday.

 

How many seniors does RBS lose? Rich is a big lose. She's tough.

Congrats to the Lady Buffalos and Coach Rogers in their win over RBS. As for Jackson County and the Buffalos. Very few teams whip a Buffalos two time in a year. It never happen three times in the same year.

Should be a great one Wednesday night. I was impressed with both teams last night in their semifinal wins. At this point i'm on the fence......

From that first win in the season Crange got over JC, Crange has yet to figure out how to beat them, it should be a great game no doubt...Both teams are basically in the state tournament, let's just hope they can meet one more time after wed night...

I would have to say I think Clarkrange will take JC in the region final. The Lady Buffalos are a great shooting team, all players on the floor can shoot the 3, can't say that for all teams, also very strong defensively. As for Jackson County, Coach Brown may possibly have lost his edge. I don't see them beating C-Range again, especially if the Buffs play as well as they did against RBS last night. If JC expects to play a sub-state game at home they need to really pick up the pace and Coach Brown needs to bring some new stuff out of his rear to beat the Lady Buffs.
