I agree with your picks! Since the vast majority of these teams have never faced each other (and scouting has probably been minimal), you just never know. It ought to be fun!! Congrats to the sweet 16!

He is from Smith Co. which is in the same district as LA so he has more than likely seen LA play three times against the Owlettes of Smith Co.

Is this not the 3rd or 4th year in a row that LA and MC have met in the sub-state. It is a shame that these 2 teams have to meet this early and not at Murphy.

Five years ago they met at substate and LA came out of top. Four years ago they played each other at the State Championship and LA won their 4th State Championship. Last year they met again at substate and McMinn won by 2. And now they meet again this sat for substate again.
