No Tyler Maples came to Maryville in 8th grade. I bet Tyler Maples can guard any player in the state, football and basketball, what amazing athletes we have. They are only starting to show until now. Our team is solid and if I were Clarksville or Oakland, I would not be so sure about a win against us. All of our athletes were naturally already here. We have a wonderful athletic department and director and coaches.

Douglas moved to Maryville from Knoxville before his freshman year and Basile moved to Maryville from Morristown before his junior year. Both are now from Maryville.

Basile was not recruited, he does not play football and when he moved here, our basketball was not nearly as good. I dont think we even won district the year he came. Douglas moved here, I really dont know why. I am not going to say a false statement and make him mad at me.
