Hampton's Coach Mclain resigns

Well We all found out this morning that coach mclain will not be returning. for the 2007 season. the cause is personal reasons. this topic is to give thanks for all that he has done he will be missed by the basketball team.

Any ideas on the next coach to take his place.

1. Leon Tolley

2.Michael Lunceford

3.Mike mathes

4. Bud Hazzlewood

Leon should take it, and bring bud in to coach girls if Calhoun doesn't take it. Another scanario would be bring Ned Smith in to coach boys.

I bet if either of the coaches mentioned were coaching you wouldn't be on these boards all the time, I believe some players are going to be in for a rude awakening when a new coach comes in.

who coach tolley and len dugger i played for leon in 8th grade its not bad i loved playing for him plus he gave us time for personal life if he is chosen he will proably go to state the varsity team thats at hampton now won two championship in 7 8 th grade.

Why would Bud Hazzelwood be interested???? I don't hink so, How about J.R. Campbell anybody thought of him.. He would be the best choice for the community, because after hearing from Leon he is not interested in moving from the girls...

 

J.R s the man, Len would be a great choice also, but J.R is the number one choice in my opinion

I thought that the original choice was J.R.'s brother Tim, Daniel Boone's Girls Coach. If Leon doesnt take it, it will be tough to find a coach. Especially if Ned goes to Eliz. I dint see Ned goin to Hampton regardless. What's up next for McClain? There's already a few openings.
