Ha! Love it!

Is this the TwinkleToes that I know? J.B? Or are you someone else? If it is the one I know, it makes perfect sense on him predicting a score that has already occured and getting it wrong.

QUOTE(Elmer @ May 2 2007 - 07:11 AM) 826449762[/snapback]Thanks, but more like beginner's luck. 2 for 2 on winners. I think the Catholic game is Wednesday, so we'll see if the luck holds. Good luck vs. Farragut!

Catholic Vs. West game is 5/3/07 " thursday" at seven at west.

Farragut and CAK tied 1-1. It was a pretty good game. Farragut like always had a ton of chances and just couldn't take advantage. CAK had a great chance towards the end but the Farragut keeper came up huge. I thought that Tarr, I think that's his name, has a little bit of an attitude problem. He got a yellow late in the game for pushing a Farragut player after the whistle. Personally I thought that it should have been his 2nd yellow because basically every time him and a Farragut player fell to the ground he got up and threw a tantrum and would get in the Farragut players' faces.

I assume that if he was being "fiesty" that he was on his game tonight? Who scored for each team?

Wow... it is hard going from the game pace that CAK has played for the past 2 weeks to this game. Farragut plays so fast and so hard. I tried to "warn" them about playing with speed, but I don't think they realized how fast until the game was in session. It seemed that we were trying to catch our breath most of the game. Great finish by Farragut's goal scorer in the first half! My boys are tired! We don't have the depth that those bigger schools have, but our guys gave it their all.

Drew Gorman (CAK's keeper) played an AMAZING game tonight. Made some super saves when Farragut's forwards made some through runs.

Yeah, Tarr can get a little hot, but I don't blame him whole heartedly. Being the name that he is, guys tend to go in hard every time. This was the 2 or 3 time the guy that fouled him had done so. Frustration talking, there. I told him the law of soccer, that the second guy will always get the card. Believe me that I am not trying to excuse it, but just trying to explain. The same thing could have been said about Backstrom, but I know how fierce a competitor he is, and in the heat of the moment, your mouth kind of takes over. Both are great kids, but both are still learning.

Farragut is a super team, with a great coach that I admire and respect. Good luck in the tournament, and we will see you guys here next year, same time, same channel.
