QUOTE(bruinsoccer @ May 26 2007 - 08:09 PM) 826467745[/snapback]Sorry, but I feel nothing for CBHS. It may not be the players fault, but arrogance from the top does trickle down. Good job Lima!

I think what mr. GK for Brentwood is trying to say is that he doesn't feel sorry for CBHS and their 3rd straight loss in the championship. I partly agree with him in that there is no way a team can make it to the last game that many times and choke so much.

Just out of curiosity, how many club players does Baylor have, and which clubs do they play for?

Sounds like they are young.

True? If so, they just beat a veteran team. The CBHS coach benched a lot of the senior class two years ago to let this year's senior class play a lot when they were sophomores---and then juniors the next year.

No judgement here--just stating that these guys have played a lot.

This was his golden-boy class, loaded with Fury 89, former Memphis FC 89 who are now Kickers 89, and Fury and MFC 90.

Most have been club state finalists or semifinalists.

Very disappointing for the Brothers.

They should be able to score one goal on Baylor.

Shoulda and a quarter gets you a quarter.

Congrats to Baylor.

I went to this game and it was definitely hard-fought. To me as an outsider, it seemed the Baylor players approached it with a team effort but the CBHS boys didn't. I saw last year's game, too, with CBHS losing to BGA---another team who played together. It'll be interesting to see what happens next year with Baylor losing so few.

As an aside, bruinsoccer is NOT from Brentwood. can't say that too many times.

Good luck next year----hope to see that final game, too!

Michael Deere, JB Murphy (seniors) and Zander Davis (Junior) play for East Ridge Express '89

Kelly Smith (Junior) has played with IMG but I am pretty sure will be playing with TNFC '90

Carter Paden and Chris Wilson (Juniors) play for PSA '90

David Burt and Chris Clemmer (Sophmores) PSA '91

and Danny vanValkinburg and Andrew Roden (Juniors) played with CFC until they recently disbanded

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
