I know. I laughed too. But then I remembered I had been there and done that. So then I cried. I'll share a bad story.

im not sure which races yet. i can promise that u will not be seeing us in the small school at TN classic if we even run in that meet.

I figured you'd stay in the Large School Gold race again like every year. We're not too sure either. Hosting an invitational (sort of), probably the stupid league races again, Jesse Owens, TN Classic, and then the usual Optimist, Region, and State.

I ran a 20:18 my freshman year at cookeville for my very first race, then a 19:14, then a 18:40, 18:25 and eventually started hitting mid 17s that was when we ran 3 miles instead of the 5k

Chickamauga Dam 2 mile: 3rd, 11:50

Fletcher Park 3 mile: 3rd, 17:50

UTC Invite: 44th, 18:16 -> 17:38 (5k converted to 3 miles)

TN Classic (Steeple): 106th, 19:07

Jesse Owens: 37th, 18:07 -> 17:30 (5k converted to 3 miles)

Charger Invitational (Dam): 15th, 17:47

Bradley Quad (Cleveland Industrial Park): 3rd, 17:43

Optimist (Baylor- little short this year): 19th, 16:43

Region 3A-AA (Dam): 3rd, 17:27

State (Steeple): 30th, 17:43

 

 

Sophomore Year, 2006 - 5 kilometers

Chickamauga Dam 5k + 1000 feet: 2nd, 19:03

McCallie Open aka Protest (Greenway): 8th, 18:00

Chatt. League Meet 1 (Baylor - more than 3 miles, less than 5k. goes down officially as a 3 mile): 3rd, 16:47 (splits, cause I can- 5:56, 5:04, 5:30-approx)

TN Classic (Steeple): 7th, 17:46

Chatt. League Meet 2 (Fletcher Park): 2nd, 17:30

Chatt. League Meet 3 (Riverpark): 3rd, 17:38

Jesse Owens: 2nd, 16:37

Charger Invitational (Riverpark): 10th, 17:24

Optimist (Baylor): 5th, 16:39

Region 3A-AA (Dam): 1st (finally. took me long enough), 17:42

State (Steeple): 4th, 17:14

Footlocker Seeded (McAlpine): 225th, 17:45 ******Some of you probably didn't know about that. My worst race of the season on most people's PR days.

 

 

Ok I had a lot of help putting that together. My xc racing life. I won't bore you with track. That is worthless anyway.

Rumor is he started a Connect 4 team at Hume Fogg and is currently ranked the #1 Connect 4 player in the state.
