Mlk had all their guys in a pack so the average time wasn't that great but the points were.
AEtheridge
We won AAA that way in 2005. I think our #1 was in the 30s--but they were all right behind him. XC is truly a team sport.

fraxc92
DL will be looking to repeat, but will they be able to? This is goin to be a big competition. I think that DL and MLK will both have respectable teams...that's an understatment. But, FRA has got a good team too. They are capable of putting 2-3 all-state runners this year (McCaslin, Davis, Kaiser). It will be an interesting year where the field is wide open. USJC can have another good year. CPA won't get to state. It'll be FRA, DL, MLK going to state. I'll go with FRA, but watch for plenty of others to show up.

I'll go with FRA, but watch for plenty of others to show up. i think that we can agree that those three teams (fra, dl, and mlk) will be competitive every year and that region will always have all 3 teams in the top 5 or 6 at state except for maybe the occasional off year but i think this year just like last year will have all 3 in the top 4 at state. i think like last year they will have a shot at getting 1-3 at state but again like last year i think usjc will upset the region sweep. it should be a lot more fun than last year because everyone knew it would be dl, fra, mlk in that order at region but this year it's really up in the air, they can finish in any order so it will be interesting. TrentDilfer?
FRA will be better than last year, that's for sure. The only problem is, MLK will also be better and DL's top 3 will be pretty darn good (like FRA last year). And actually, after looking at times from last year, DL might struggle if they don't get a 4 and 5. How was their JV last year and who do they have coming up to replace Perkins, Rucker, Bell, and Varble? Kinda reminds me of FRA yet again right there. Coniglio
I would say FRA is gunning to come back to state prominence after a season with no hardware. If DL's former JV runners step up then they will be dangerous. If MLK's top 7 put more mileage combined in than I do by myself... then that's good cause apparently it didn't happen last year. Look for USJC to upset the world's balance again. Maybe if those doctors can work quickly, we can clone me a couple of times. 4 or 5 would be nice. Otherwise.... it's middle and USJC. stealthccrunner3200
nah i think the west will have the best teams this year....hahaa but really DL has a slew of good JV runners that can fill 4-7. usjc was good last year but i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt get much better this year. i cant wait till middle district and region, those races are gonna be so wide open
thecrippler2222
at schools like DL and FRA there will always be JV guys ready to back up the leaving seniors. that is why they never seem to have a bad year. i mean FRA getting 3rd last year was like the worst they've ever done. you would've thought it was the end of the world with how disappointed they were but just about every other school would be thrilled with a 3rd place finish at state. I know DL will have some guys step up to keep them in the top 3 or 4 at state and make another run at the championship
