It is about that time of year folks. The dead period is almost upon us and after that teams around the state will begin preparations for the 2007 high school football season. Just about that same time Murphy Fair's 2007 High School Football Preview Magazine will be released. This preview has by far and away been the state's best when it comes to looking at high school football for the past several years now. It started as mainly a midstate preview but over the years it has become a statewide thing. The magazine is just one week away from hitting the printers and there are still several teams out there who have not submitted surveys. Here is the list so if your team is not included you'll know why!!!

QUOTE(The Drunken Sailor @ Jun 11 2007 - 01:38 PM) 82647384970 TEAMS? Did I count that right? That is a lot of coaches not wanting to get their players recognition all across the state. I understand that some coaches may be new and not have time but 70 teams?

That is pretty sad.

QUOTE(LSMFT @ Jun 11 2007 - 04:31 PM) 826473917I promise you this is NOT correct. You are trying to tell me that there are absolutely no teams from Knoxville in this magazine. I got some great land in the middle of the Everglades for sale.

I think you read this wrong...If you don't see a Knoxville team on the list,it means they are IN the magazine.......

I also don't understand why a coach won't take 20 or 30 minutes or maybe less,I haven't seen the questionaire that is sent out,to fill this out and send it back in...It is good recognition for the kids....

It was good to see that the three Obion County schools(Union City,Obion Central and South Fulton)filled theirs out and only two teams out of 14 in Regions 7-1A and 7-3A(Gleason and Haywood Co) didn't fill one out.....

Looking forward to getting mine...I always enjoy it

Go to Murphy Fair's Website to get info on how you can get a copy of the form. The site also gives you the same list as the one that I have given. If you wish you may also contact Murphy Fair because his number is on the website.

Read the info correctly. If your team is not on my list that I gave then that team is ALREADY IN THE MAGAZINE!!!!

That can happen, but most of the time the coach has put forms in file 13. Big Country, glad you called out the schools that have not sent info to POSTIVE promote the players and the football program. Coaches need to get this done , or better , send list to the Prinicpal.

Yeah but he'll probably list the coach as John A. Anderson. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

In case "The Guru" /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> doesn't know.......Chris Pickett is back in charge of the Grundy County YELLOW JACKETS.
