so are there any prospects in the smaller classes of div. one? in classes one and two A?? cuz i havent seen any listed yet...

Sam Thompson @ Alcoa, 2A will be a D1 prospect. Kolinsky @ CAK, 2A perhaps. Big, strong, hard FB type. Good hands, blocker, not certain about foot speed. 2A has a #.

Congratulations to MR. GORDON on that 1st big offer from Tennesee. Another year and a half at Hillsboro, and perhaps a couple of championships, and then don the orange. ZonePirate, I know it's the year 20& Saban, but is Bama all over this one like the Tait kid as well? Thanks.

Chad Coleman-#11/Anderson County

6"2"-220lbs FB/LB

Doesn't get a whole lot of publicity in Knox County, however, this kid needs to get his name out there! Very athletic.

Set 2 freshman records in track at AC(set one record, then broke his own record in 100 and 200). Very good hands even though they don't throw to him a lot. Excellent blocker, as good as we've seen at high school level. (Rogers ,AC TB, gets most of his yards behind this kid! ) Has ability to pick up blitzers and pin point where blitz is coming from. Able to read defenses well beyond his years. Runs hard. Not easy to bring down, one tackle won't do it. Can do more than just protect the quarterback. Can fly when he breaks it out into the open. Possibly could play at strong safety with pass coverage, speed, and hard hitting. Only freshman Coach Kerr has started in all his years coaching. Defensive Captain, sophmore and junior years. Oh yeah, 3.8 gpa!

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
