Well if you would've gone to Smyrna, you'd be guaranteed a deep playoff run instead of a sniff at the postseason, if that.

hate to burst your bubble but "guarantee" does not exist in this region.................maybe Riverdale...........maybe.

Big question on Smyrna is can they replace that half of their offense that everyone kind of ignores. Those 2 running backs that graduated had to be at least half of the total yardage, and I would imagine that they took quite a bit of pressure off Mr Gray and Mr Wilks; also if I am not mistaken, the O Line was a veteran group and most are gone! So. if you feel that this can be fully replaced; then Smryna will probably challenge Riverdale; otherwise they might have to get down and scrap with the others for a "spot".

Lets look at every teams first (2) region games...........who do you like?

Riverdale- (Oakland, Blackman)

Smyrna- (Siegel, Lebanon)

Oakland-(Riverdale, Lavergne)

Lebanon-(Smryna, Lavergne)

Blackman- (Lavergne, Riverdale)

Lavergne- (Blackman, Oakland)

siegel- (Smyrna, Wilson Central)

Wilson Central- (siegel, Oakland)

lets be for real siegel is going to dominate you see at the end of the season they pulled it together and managed to win 2 games at the end of the season when most people in that situation would give up they lost a close game AT Riverdale who was heavily favored and then the next week they lost one of the best RB in Tennessee for 7 games he cameback agiast Wison central which they one . last year was a majority of underclassman in the last two games.and the reason why they lost 8 games last season was cause the O could not score. The D was imaculant and with just about the whole D coming back it will be hard to score on them. If Siegel finds a O-line the could turn alot of heads.if you saw any of there games you saw them play one half of football.in the half they did play the completely dominated the other team. along with the o-line they need to find stability.going into the fifth i thank this is the year.

summing this up all they need is cofidence if they beat smyna they can easily win all of their games

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
