sciurus Posted July 10, 2007 Report Share Posted July 10, 2007 I know they scrimmaged Halls back in May...score was like 41-6 and we broke their QB's leg and another guy's collar bone...that's all I've heard about scrimmages though. We have a four-way scrimmage at Cleveland with Cleveland, Baylor, Polk Co., and us on Saturday August 4th. We then scrimmage at Morristown West (as of now...it will be at West if they get their field-turf installed on schedule) on Friday August 10th. REBELRON Posted July 10, 2007 Report Share Posted July 10, 2007 I like William Blounts uniform now. Heritage looked good when they wore the red jerseys. They look awful now. Maryville looks better than ever now. I hated the Alabama look we had when I was in high school. The Helmets that Maryville wears now are the best helmets in high school football. I've had the opportunity to meet this young man a few times around school events (he annually wins academic letters ... is named one of WB's top achievers, etc.). I had the privilege of attending school with both his dad (LG) and his mom. I believe it's that Friendsville connection that contributes mightily to his success!!!
