When is average acceptable. Dont got to tourney if your guns arent loaded.

 

I don't imagine Smyrna would have been better off by staying at home. I suspect that some of their younger reserves got work they would never have gotten otherwise. It seems pretty brave for the coach to take the team under those circumstances.

The objective is to get the experience that the tournament offers; once the season starts the 3-3 record they got wont mean anything. Actually it dont mean anything now; it actually would not be as important as a full blown scrim in the spring/fall.
